Christina grew up in Bergen County and graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with minors in Social Justice and Political Science.

At Rutgers, she co-founded a Dear Asian Youth chapter, an organization dedicated to creating a safe space for individuals of the Asian diaspora. She also served as a First-Year Interest Group Seminar instructor, teaching first-year students about social justice and diversity. In addition, she conducted research for Bread for the World, focusing on the Feed the Future Innovation Labs that was codified under the Global Food Security Act.

After graduating, Christina began working for Bergen County Commissioner Tracy Zur as her Confidential Aide. In this role, she has worked closely with Commissioner Zur on several legislative initiatives, including efforts focused on food security, spearheading a countywide week of service: United We Serve, and many other community-focused projects. She also volunteers with the Bergen County Democratic Party, helping with GOTV efforts and supporting local campaigns to engage and mobilize voters across the county.

Christina is an active member of her church, where she serves on the worship team. She enjoys running and baking sourdough bread.
