A NEW CHAPTER IN OUR HISTORY
KEVIN P. MCCABE JOINS OUR TEAM
When Jamie Fox and I started this business almost fifteen years ago, we had a vision that we could combine intense client service with substantive know how and strategic insights to build a successful lobbying and consulting business. While Jamie died three years ago, the values he brought to the business and to each of our lives remain at our core. I knew a day would come when it would be time to bring in a new partner to carry the vision forward.
The time is now and that person is Kevin McCabe.
It was always important that the business move forward in a way that Jamie would approve and Jamie was a huge fan of Kevin’s. Kevin has been a personal friend of mine for nearly twenty years. We worked together in the McGreevey Administration but bonded over our shared love of the Mets and our approach to government and politics.
Kevin’s resume and experience speak for itself. A former Commissioner of the Department of Labor, current Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the Chairman of the Middlesex County Democratic Organization. Kevin has been repeatedly recognized as one of New Jersey’s foremost political leaders with a wealth of government and political experience that will significantly enhance our ability to advise our clients. More importantly, he is an individual whose judgment, values, work ethic and approach to client service mirrors our own. Jamie always counseled to find people that make you stronger and Kevin will do just that.
In addition to Kevin, we are also ecstatic that Yasmin Brissac will join us. Yasmine is a rising talent who will bring her own unique set of relationships and skills to the firm.
As part of this announcement, River Crossing will formally create a public affairs section that Kevin will lead. For years, we have provided our clients with communications and grass roots/coalition building strategies but now, we are making it official.
This is an exciting time for us. Last year, we were very fortunate to bring on Maddy Urbish from the Murphy Administration. In Doug Hritz, Danielle Alpert and Tim White, we are privileged to have an outstanding and dedicated team that has been with our firm for many years. Kevin will strengthen our ability to serve our clients and strengthen the skills we bring as a firm.
