RCSG Announces Practice Group Leadership Positions


River Crossing Strategy Group announces the following practice group leadership positions:

Douglas Hritz has been named Chair of River Crossing’s Renewable Energy Practice Group and Co-Chair of our Legislative Practice Group.

Doug is a guru of legislative procedures and the political, policy, and procedural nuances of moving legislation through the process.  Doug previously served as Deputy Legislative Affairs Director in the Governor’s Office.  He has two decades of experience in New Jersey politics and impacted every major piece of energy legislation in the past decade.

Janellen Duffy has been named Chair of River Crossing’s Education Practice Group and Vice-Chair of the Technology & E-Commerce Practice Group

Janellen is a former Director of the Governor’s Policy Office and recognized statewide educational expert.   She has led statewide educational and non-profit organizations and helped write the NJ School funding formula, school construction initiative, and other policy initiatives related to educational standards.

Stephanie Albanese has been named Chair of River Crossing’s Healthcare Practice Group and Chair of the firm’s Non-Profit Practice Group.

Stephanie previously worked as the Legislative Director to Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee Chair Senator Joe Vitale where she coordinated the Committee’s policy agenda.  She has worked on several major pieces of healthcare policy in New Jersey and has been repeatedly recognized as one of the State’s influential female policymakers.

Timothy White has been named Chair of River Crossing’s Public Affairs Practice Group and the Co-Chair of the firm’s Local Government and Real Estate Practice Group.

Tim, the Managing Director of RCSG’s Northeast Florida office, is a veteran public affairs executive specializing in campaign advocacy and real estate development projects.   Tim is a proven campaign veteran who has successfully steered many real estate projects through difficult local approval processes.

Yasmin Brissac has been named Chair of River Crossing’s Technology & E-Commerce Practice Group and Co-Chair of our Legislative Practice Group.

Yasmin has worked on a wide range of technology, e-commerce, and environmental issues during her time at River Crossing.  Prior to that, she worked with Middlesex County Democratic Organization leading fundraising and major events.  Throughout this work, Yasmin has developed considerable experience working with local and statewide decision-makers.
